Scope and contact
Effective date: October 12, 2026.
This policy describes data use on the independent Forever Ago guide site at https://www.foreverago-guide.wiki/, maintained by Kevin. For privacy questions, contact kevinjiang0712@gmail.com.
Google Analytics 4
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand page visits, navigation, and site use. Its measurement technology can use first-party cookies and collect device or browser information, page activity, and identifiers. Google states that Analytics does not log or store IP addresses. We use the reports to understand which guides are useful and where the site needs improvement.
Read Google’s privacy policy and its Analytics data safeguards for information about the service. Google also provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors interact with the site through behavioural metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. This can capture interaction patterns such as clicks and scrolling using cookies and other tracking technology. The insights help identify confusing navigation and improve page usability. Microsoft also processes the information according to its own policies.
Read the Microsoft Privacy Statement for details about Microsoft’s collection and use of data.
Adsterra advertising
The site displays advertising through Adsterra. Ad-serving technology and participating providers may receive technical information, including browser or device details, IP addresses, page or referrer information, and ad interactions. They may use cookies or similar technology to deliver advertising, measure performance, and detect invalid activity.
Advertisements and their destination sites are third-party services. Visiting an advertised site is subject to that site’s policies. Read Adsterra’s privacy policy for information about its service and data practices.
Information sent by email
If you contact us, we receive the email address, message, and any information you choose to include. We use that information to review and respond to the enquiry. Send only what is necessary, and avoid passwords, payment information, or other sensitive details.
Browser controls and service settings
You can use your browser’s settings to block or remove cookies and restrict third-party requests. These choices may change how analytics, advertising, or some interface behaviour works. Provider settings and the Google opt-out tool offer additional controls. Browser controls do not necessarily remove information already processed by a provider.
Requests and updates
Contact Kevin with questions or requests concerning information held by this site. Provider-held information is also subject to each provider’s own processes. Retention varies by service and settings; consult the provider policies above for details. A provider may need to address requests relating to information it holds.
We may revise this policy when site services or practices change. The effective date identifies the current version. Our Contact page explains what to include in an enquiry.
